About Us
Captain Jax Frozen Treasures was born from family, fun, and a little summertime inspiration. The idea first sparked when we were at the zoo and again during a Fourth of July celebration, both filled with kids, laughter, and shaved ice — including our nephew, his wife, their kids, and our great-nieces and nephew. Those moments reminded us that shaved ice isn’t just a frozen treat; it’s a way to make memories that last.
Our logo celebrates that spirit. Michael, our nephew who we raised as our son, became the face of “Captain Jax” on our logo, while my niece Gianna inspired our mermaid. Though they won’t be working in the business since they live out of state, their playful personalities live on through our characters and design — making it feel as if they are with us every step of the way.
It’s not just our family who is at the core of our mission, but yours too. Through our Every Ice Gives Back pledge, 5% of our sales from events you book with us are donated to a charity of your choice from our partner list. When we join your celebration, it becomes more than an event — it becomes an opportunity to pour joy back into the community.
Captain Jax Frozen Treasures is proudly part of Jetson’s Legacy Holding Company, a name chosen to honor my late parents, George and Jane. Their memory lives on not only in our family, but also in the generations that follow, including the great-grandchildren who inspired this journey. Just like the Jetsons cartoon that pointed toward the future, Jetson’s Legacy is about moving forward with imagination, love, and making a difference — while never forgetting the family roots that started it all.
